I Don't Want To Hear About Jesus

We're always leaving the jail with great stories about what God is doing through Anchor Ministry. We regularly work with youth (under 18) in some of the jails we go to, most of which are only 15 and 16 years old. We recently sat down with a kid named Cedric. From the start he didn't want to have anything to do with hearing about Jesus. Right off the bat he said "I don't want to hear about Jesus."

"I don't want to hear about Jesus."

God was giving us the words to speak, the scriptures to share in order to connect with Cedric. As we continued to talk and get to know Cedric, his wall eventually came down. Before we left he even asked "How do you even get a Bible?"

We believe God can do anything. It's our job to simply go be the hands and feet of Christ to those who need Him. These young kids in jail need to be loved and what better love to give them than the love of Jesus and a ministry and community of people (like you!) that is there to support them.
